eMentor Leadership Program

The eMentor Leadership Program combines technology with diligent, hands-on support to ensure protégés are not only matched with appropriate mentors, while working towards achieving aspirational goals and overcoming challenging obstacles for success in life.

Officer Women Leadership Symposium (OWLS)

Every year AcademyWomen hosts a leadership symposium where participants can network with like-minded colleagues, participate in stimulating discussions, learn from timely workshops and grow from inspiring keynotes and panel discussions. Our distinguished speakers are respected leaders from the public and private sectors who offer their support, personal advice and motivation to our members.

Career Coaching and Professional Development Workshop

Our Career Coaching and Professional Development Workshops provide professional development opportunities, discussions and resources for our members to assist them in their success throughout all stages of their careers. In the future, AcademyWomen will host Pod-Casts & Tele-Seminar Series which will provide insight into specific career paths, and share stories of success in a particular field.

Distinguished Speaker Series (DSS) and Regional Networking Events

AcademyWomen partners with the International Women’s Think Tank and Georgia Tech to promote women’s leadership in a diverse world, research, critical thinking and innovative problem solving through the Distinguished Speaker Series (DSS). The DSS features expert panels and keynotes to spark meaningful discussions. Regional networking events and opportunities are offered that build upon the mission of AcademyWomen. Regional leaders host local events, networking opportunities and provide additional local resources for professional and personal development.

In Memoriam Program

When an officer woman passes, we honor their memory in a special way and show support to their family. In addition, our fallen sister’s memory is honored during a remembrance ceremony held during our annual symposium. During this ceremony, AcademyWomen presents to each family, a memento created by fellow women officers.

News and Inspiration

AcademyWomen disseminates and discusses news focusing on the professional development of officer women in the military, officer women transitioning to civilian careers, and officer women in professions subsequent to their active duty service.
