AcademyWomen Serves a Broader Community as the Women’s Military and Veteran Support Fund (CFC#22344)
Military women, families, and veterans who proudly serve often face professional challenges, PTSD, sexual assault, and transition issues in silent isolation. Through mentorship, online community building, events, and transition assistance, we help our heroes reach their highest potential.
Membership
Membership is open to women from all enlistment and commissioning sources as well as to all individuals committed to the success of empowering aspiring, current and past military women through mentoring, training, and growth opportunities to achieve their highest potential and work/life balance.
Background
AcademyWomen is a 501c3 non-profit organization created by and for military women to provide opportunities to connect, find inspiration, and succeed through personal and professional development programming.
AcademyWomen programs are designed to meet the multiple needs of our members.
For leadership and professional development, networking, and continued inspiration, we offer the Officer Women Leadership Symposium (OWLS). To address the needs of those women transitioning to new careers or wanting insight on how to better position themselves professionally, we offer the in person Career Coaching Workshop.
AcademyWomen also hosts the Career Coaching Webinar Series which are interactive professional development workshops and discussions led by career coaches, industry experts, and top-caliber, military friendly organizations. Job seekers may connect virtually with influential hiring managers interested in meeting and employing military and veteran leaders.
Our members are the pioneers who bravely sought military training and now represent a new and outstanding paradigm of leadership. Membership is open to all current, former, and future women military leaders or all affiliates supportive of the AcademyWomen mission. Membership is FREE because we feel military women have already earned the right to be called AcademyWomen.
AcademyWomen is aligned for the greater good of the military and it is our belief that every woman who chooses to serve her country should be fully prepared to do so.
